"Dumb" Model

"Dumb" Model

Counts pixels to be flooded if they fall below the raised water level. This is dumb, since it will say the ocean has flooded places that the water couldn't get to in the first place.

8-Neighbor Model

8-Neighbor Model

This is what NOAA used. I did not use this, but an adapted version of it.

8-Neighbor Model

8-Neighbor Model

This is the adaption that was used for the 8-NB process. Considers hydrologic connectivity if two adjacent flooded pixels share a corner or an edge.
