A 12.75Ft dune could have potentially helped reduce flooding to ocean-side properties during Hurricane Sandy.

But, Trial III shows that the inland coastline still floods despite dune (maybe even more than without a dune, but that's not the point).

A bigger storm that breaches dunes = Sharks in ya House!

Subsidence needs to be accounted for in coastal SLR modeling.

The 8-Neighbor model was deemed to be the most realistic model for mapping flooding, since liquid water is not naturally restricted to only 4 directions of flow.
